Sales Associate - Pain

Clinical Specialist – Peripheral Nerve Stimulation (PNS)

Territory: Northwest Arkansas

Position Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and relationship-driven Clinical Specialist to support the growth and clinical execution of our Peripheral Nerve Stimulation (PNS) business throughout Northwest Arkansas. The Clinical Specialist will work closely with physicians, advanced practice providers, clinical staff, patients, and the sales team to support patient care, procedural success, therapy optimization, and account growth.

This role requires a combination of clinical expertise, strong interpersonal communication, technical proficiency, and business acumen. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced healthcare environment and is passionate about improving patient outcomes through innovative technology and exceptional customer support.

Preferred candidate location: Fayetteville, Bentonville, Rogers, Springdale, or surrounding Northwest Arkansas communities.

Essential Responsibilities

Clinical Support & Procedure Coverage

  • Provide clinical and technical support for PNS procedures in physician offices, ambulatory surgery centers (ASC), and hospital settings
  • Support physicians and staff before, during, and after procedures
  • Assist with device programming, troubleshooting, and therapy optimization
  • Coordinate and support patient trial procedures, lead pulls, and permanent implants
  • Ensure proper product usage and adherence to company protocols and best practices
  • Maintain a strong understanding of clinical data, indications, contraindications, and therapy applications

Patient Care & Education

  • Educate patients on therapy expectations, device functionality, and post-procedure care
  • Conduct patient follow-up and reprogramming visits as needed
  • Help improve patient satisfaction and therapy compliance through ongoing communication and support
  • Partner with providers and staff to identify appropriate therapy candidates

Practice Development & Account Support

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with physicians, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, office staff, and facility personnel
  • Support account growth through consistent clinical engagement and customer service
  • Conduct staff trainings, in-services, and educational programs
  • Assist the sales team in expanding physician utilization and integrating PNS into practice workflow
  • Help identify opportunities for increased therapy adoption and patient referrals

Sales & Operational Partnership

  • Partner closely with Territory Managers and Sales Leadership to support strategic territory growth
  • Participate in territory planning, account development, and customer follow-up activities
  • Maintain accurate reporting of clinical activities, case support, and account interactions
  • Support inventory management, case logistics, and scheduling coordination as needed

Compliance & Professionalism

  • Maintain compliance with all company policies, healthcare regulations, credentialing requirements, and industry standards
  • Represent the organization with professionalism, integrity, and accountability at all times
  • Maintain competency through ongoing product, clinical, and industry training

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred; clinical or healthcare-related background strongly preferred
  • Prior experience in medical device sales, clinical support, neuromodulation, pain management, spine, orthopedics, or related healthcare field preferred
  • Experience supporting implantable medical technologies preferred
  • Strong communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a team environment
  • Comfortable working in operating rooms, procedure suites, clinics, and hospital environments
  • Ability to travel throughout Northwest Arkansas as needed
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

  • Regular attendance in clinics, hospitals, and ASC environments
