Grandiose is a proudly home-grown retail chain that redefines shopping and dining experiences in the UAE. As a fast-growing and dynamic brand, we are seeking for a dynamic Sizzle Grill Chef for our team in UAE.


Job Purpose:

The Sales Associate for Sizzle Grill is responsible for preparing, grilling, and serving hot food items such as grilled meats, kebabs, and other grilled dishes. The role involves delivering exceptional customer service, ensuring food quality and hygiene, and promoting Sizzle Grill products. This associate will also manage inventory, maintain the grill station, and ensure all safety standards are met.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Greet and assist customers with their orders, offering suggestions on popular items and combinations.
  • Provide detailed information about grill items, preparation methods, and any dietary options (halal, vegetarian, etc.).
  • Promote and upsell side dishes, beverages, and combo meals to increase sales.
  • Address customer inquiries and complaints with a focus on customer satisfaction.
  • Prepare, marinate, and grill meats and vegetables according to store recipes and customer preferences.
  • Ensure all food is cooked to the correct temperature, maintaining consistent quality and taste.
  • Follow portion control guidelines to ensure cost efficiency and customer satisfaction.
  • Ensure proper handling and storage of raw and cooked food to meet health and safety regulations.
  • Adhere to all food safety and sanitation standards, including proper storage and handling of food items.
  • Regularly clean and sanitize the grill area, cooking equipment, and surrounding workspaces.
  • Maintain personal hygiene and wear appropriate protective gear (gloves, aprons, etc.) at all times.
  • Monitor ingredient levels and restock supplies such as meats, vegetables, sauces, and condiments.
  • Assist with inventory control by conducting stock checks and reporting shortages to the supervisor.
  • Ensure all items are properly labeled, stored, and rotated to maintain freshness and prevent waste.
  • Set up and maintain an attractive, clean, and well-organized display of grilled items to encourage sales.
  • Ensure that all products are priced correctly and that promotional items are displayed prominently.
  • Monitor the quality and freshness of all displayed items, removing any that do not meet store standards.
  • Record daily sales figures and report on popular items and customer preferences to the department supervisor.
  • Help the department meet or exceed sales targets by providing product recommendations and ensuring efficient service.
  • Work closely with other team members, including kitchen staff and cashiers, to ensure smooth operations.
  • Assist in other areas of the store as needed, especially during peak hours or staff shortages.
