Sales Associate – Wine & Spirits

The Whiskey Library, Northport’s destination for fine whiskey, wine, and craft spirits, is hiring a Sales Associate to join our team. We’re looking for someone who is passionate about wine & spirits, enjoys helping customers find the perfect bottle, and takes pride in keeping the store running smoothly.

What You’ll Do

• Welcome and assist customers, providing recommendations and product knowledge.
• Man the register, process sales, and handle transactions accurately.
• Stock shelves, organize displays, and help maintain store cleanliness.
• Support daily store operations including light cleaning and restocking.
• Deliver outstanding customer service to build loyal relationships.

What We’re Looking For

• Must be 21 years or older.
• Previous sales or retail experience preferred (wine/spirits industry experience a big plus).
• Knowledge of wine, whiskey, or spirits—or actively training (WSET, sommelier, or similar).
• Friendly, approachable, and confident in helping customers choose bottles.
• Reliable, punctual, and comfortable with both customer-facing and operational tasks.

Pay: $16.50 - $24.00 per hour
