Sales Associate/Design Consultant

Job Overview
Join our dynamic team as a Sales Associate and Design Consultant, where your passion for interior spaces and exceptional customer service will shine! In this vibrant role, you will combine your sales expertise with creative design skills to help clients transform their homes. Must have weekend availability. Store hours: Sunday noon-5pm, Monday - Saturday, 10am-5pm. Position includes an hourly sales bonus!

Duties

• Demonstrate products effectively, upselling techniques, and detailed explanations of features such as lighting options or remodeling materials.
• Process transactions via POS systems, handle cashing out, and ensure accurate retail math for sales reporting.
• Support merchandising efforts by stocking displays, organizing products, and maintaining an attractive store environment aligned with branding standards.
• Maintain excellent customer service by addressing inquiries promptly, providing product knowledge, and ensuring a positive shopping experience.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in retail sales or inside sales within a high-end or specialized market such as lighting, interior design, or renovation industries.
• Strong communication skills in English; multilingual abilities are a plus for serving diverse clientele.
• Demonstrated ability to negotiate effectively and up sell products or services to meet sales targets.
• Excellent organizational skills for managing stock levels, merchandising displays, and customer accounts efficiently.
• Basic math skills for retail math calculations, cash handling accuracy, and pricing strategies.

Pay: $22.00 - $24.00 per hour
