Sales Associate/Pharmacy Technician

Position Overview

We are a locally owned independent pharmacy dedicated to providing personalized care and exceptional customer service to our community. We are seeking a motivated, detail-oriented Sales Associate / Pharmacy Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience with MicroMerchant Systems- PrimeRx and PrimePOS (required) and a passion for helping patients with their healthcare needs.

Key Responsibilities:

Sales Associate Duties:

• Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner
• Process retail transactions accurately using PrimePOS
• Maintain clean, organized, and well-stocked shelves
• Assist customers with OTC product selection and general inquiries
• Support inventory management, including receiving and stocking merchandise
• Promote store products and services

Pharmacy Technician Duties:

• Enter and process prescriptions using PrimeRx
• Assist pharmacist with prescription preparation and labeling
• Handle insurance claims and resolve rejections
• Manage refill requests and communicate with patients and providers
• Maintain accurate patient records and ensure HIPAA compliance
• Assist with inventory control and medication ordering

Qualifications

• Experience with PrimeRx and PrimePOS (required)
• Previous pharmacy technician and/or retail experience preferred
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
• Bilingual (Spanish or other languages) is a plus

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $16.00 - $19.00 per hour
