We are seeking a results-driven Sales Consultant with expertise in Learning Management Systems to drive new business, engage prospective clients, and support the growth of our learning solutions portfolio. The ideal candidate understands the digital learning ecosystem, can articulate the unique strengths of Open edX (preferable), and excels in consultative selling to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities Sales & Business Development

  • Identify, qualify, and pursue new sales opportunities in corporate, academic, and training markets.
  • Conduct product demonstrations showcasing the capabilities and value of our Open edX–based LMS.
  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans to meet or exceed revenue targets.
  • Prepare proposals, quotations, and RFP responses tailored to client needs.

Consultative Solution Selling

  • Analyze client requirements and recommend LMS configurations, integrations, and learning solutions.
  • Communicate the advantages of Open edX, including scalability, modular architecture, and open-source flexibility.
  • Collaborate with technical teams to ensure feasibility and accurate scoping of solutions.
  • Guide prospects through the full sales cycle—from initial discovery to closing deals.

Relationship Management

  • Build and maintain strong, long-term client relationships.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor on digital learning strategies, platform adoption, and implementation pathways.
  • Liaise with the implementation and support teams to ensure smooth client onboarding.

Market & Product Knowledge

  • Stay up to date on LMS trends, competitive platforms, and industry demands.
  • Provide market feedback to product and leadership teams to shape roadmap and positioning.
  • Attend industry events, webinars, and conferences to represent the company and generate leads.

Requirements Experience & Skills

  • Proven track record of success in LMS sales or EdTech solution selling.
  • Experience managing long sales cycles and complex, multi-stakeholder engagements.
  • Excellent presentation, negotiation, and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience selling SaaS, enterprise learning platforms, or e-learning services.
  • Knowledge of instructional design, online course delivery, or learning strategy.
  • Understanding of cloud hosting (AWS, Azure, GCP) as it relates to Open edX deployments.
