Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales Consultant to join our team. The ideal candidate will be able to earn additional commissions and should excel in outside and inside sales, managing client relationships, and developing new business opportunities in the Structured Cabling, Audio-Visual and Security industry. This role involves engaging with clients in the construction and real estate development arenas, an ability to present technological products and solutions, and experience in closing sales to meet company growth objectives. A strong background in B2B sales and customer service is essential to succeed in this position. The Sales Consultant will play a key role in expanding our market presence through effective management of accounts and strategic lead generation.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve targets.
- Conduct business development activities including cold calling, lead generation, and prospecting new clients.
- Manage existing accounts through regular communication, upselling, and ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Present product demos and technical solutions tailored to client needs.
- Negotiate contracts and close sales deals efficiently while maintaining positive customer relationships.
- Utilize CRM software for tracking leads, managing customer data, and analyzing sales performance.
- Collaborate with marketing teams to develop territory-specific campaigns that enhance brand visibility.
- Maintain comprehensive technical knowledge of product offerings, industry trends, and competitive landscape to provide expert advice to clients.
- Manage accounts effectively through strategic planning and consistent follow-up efforts.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries promptly and resolving issues professionally.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in outside sales, B2B technology sales with a track record of meeting or exceeding targets.
- Familiarity with CRM software, such as Acumatica for lead tracking and analysis.
- Excellent negotiation skills coupled with the ability to conduct compelling product demos and presentations.
- Exceptional communication skills with a focus on customer service and relationship building.
- Ability to perform market analysis to identify new opportunities for growth and expansion.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a team environment.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple accounts simultaneously.
