Job Summary
Healsway is expanding its retail presence and is launching a new furniture showroom in Dehradun. We are seeking a dynamic and customer-oriented Showroom Sales Executive with strong domain knowledge in furniture/interiors and a proven ability to convert walk-in enquiries into sales. The ideal candidate will be confident in communicating with customers in English and Hindi, and capable of delivering a premium showroom experience.
Key Responsibilities
Sales & Customer Engagement
- Handle walk-in customers professionally and understand their furniture and interior requirements
- Explain furniture products, materials, finishes, craftsmanship, and pricing in a clear and confident manner
- Recommend suitable furniture solutions based on customer needs, space, and budget
- Prepare quotations, negotiate within approved limits, and close sales
- Achieve assigned monthly and quarterly sales targets
Showroom Operations
- Maintain attractive product displays and overall showroom presentation
- Coordinate with internal teams (design, production, logistics) for order processing and execution
- Maintain accurate records of enquiries, orders, and customer follow-ups
- Support billing coordination and post-sales communication
Customer Experience
- Ensure a smooth and professional customer journey from enquiry to order closure
- Build long-term relationships and encourage repeat business and referrals
- Address customer queries and basic concerns promptly and professionally
Reporting
- Share regular sales updates and performance reports with the reporting manager
- Provide market insights, customer feedback, and competitor information
Candidate Profile & Requirements
- 3–5 years of relevant experience in furniture or interior showroom sales
- Strong knowledge of furniture products, materials, finishes, and basic design concepts
- Proven sales performance in a showroom environment
- Fluency in English and Hindi (verbal communication is mandatory)
- Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and customer-handling skills
- Target-driven mindset with a professional and presentable personality
- Basic computer knowledge (billing software, Excel, CRM – preferred)
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in customized furniture or interior solution sales
- Exposure to mid-premium or premium showroom environments
- Local market knowledge of Dehradun is an added advantage
