Position Summary:

As a sales consultant at NAIS, you will be expected to connect with agents through the phone, social media, texting, etc.—we are not a call center, but this is not the job for you if you’re afraid of communication! It is important that you can provide outstanding service and support to our agents through all communication channels. If you’re a self-starter who can anticipate next steps and proactively take actions necessary to produce results, this will be a lucrative career for you!

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop a working knowledge of all insurance products offered by NAIS, including enrollment processes and requirements
  • Recruit and onboard new agents, guiding them through initial setup and orientation
  • Provide ongoing sales, customer service, and administrative support to agents
  • Assist agents with onboarding, training, contracting and producing
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for agent questions and support needs
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation related to agent activity and onboarding
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure agents receive timely and effective support
  • Perform additional duties as assigned

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate or Bachelor’s degree preferred (or equivalent work experience)
  • Experience in customer service or sales support roles preferred
  • Demonstrated ability to meet or exceed sales or performance goals (preferred)
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Self-motivated with a strong sales aptitude and customer-focused mindset
  • Ability to multitask with strong organizational skills
  • Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
