The Role
- Supporting sales function and coordinating sales-related activities within the company, to achieve sales plan. • Contribute to Customer satisfaction by ensuring the accuracy and timely processing of orders. • Managing the sales-related activities for the assigned customer. • Supporting/Coordinating with the H.O sales team, Marketing. • Ensuring the timely delivery of goods to customers. • Coordinating with customers on vessel schedules and getting confirmation on draft documents. • Sending an information and providing the documents to the customer once the material is left from the plant. • Update the tracking details to the customer upon the delay in the arrival of shipment at the destination and coordinate with our team accordingly. • Facilitate the resolution of sales related issues with customers & team. • Responding to sales queries via phone, email, and written communication, and informing internal teams, the sales team at the head office, and customers. • Coordinate with Marketing and QC team on the sample requirement. • Arranging the sample deliveries to the customer. (Local) Thru. Driver. (Export) via Courier. • Arranging and verifying documents with approval from the accounts department based on payment and direct courier requirements. • Monitoring the daily despatched records and sharing the orders to the management. • Verifying SGS documents and forwarding it for the client and supervisor approval. • Following up on payments related to advance payment customers. • Gather pending deliveries and passing the information to the relevant department. • Following with the respective team to proceed with the shipment with an approval from the customer • Internal Coordination with the driver for the timely deliveries of samples & documents. • In the absence of the Sales Assistant, the responsibility of preparing export documents and coordinating sample deliveries via courier will be undertaken.
Requirements
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and any other software related to record keeping. • Sample report as and when requested by marketing team. • Sales related report as and when requested by Marketing team • Daily wise dispatch order forwarding it to Management. • Pending order details as and when requested by the customer. Key Internal Interfaces • Executive Director, Marketing Manager, Production Manager, Assistant Manager, Sr. Officer QC/QA, Sr. Accountant & Logistics team.
