Sales Counselor - Academic Counsellor ( Sales )

The Academic Counsellor is responsible for guiding prospective students about courses, career opportunities, and enrollment procedures. The role involves converting enquiries into admissions through effective counselling and relationship management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Handle walk-in enquiries, phone calls, and online leads.
  • Provide detailed information about courses, certifications, and career prospects.
  • Understand student needs and recommend suitable programs.
  • Follow up with leads and convert them into admissions.
  • Maintain student database and update CRM regularly.
  • Coordinate with the academic and marketing teams.
  • Achieve monthly admission targets.
  • Assist in organizing seminars, workshops, and promotional events.

Eligibility Criteria:

  • Bachelor’s degree in any discipline.
  • 1–3 years of experience in educational counselling / sales (preferred).
  • Excellent communication skills (English & Tamil preferred).
  • Strong convincing and negotiation skills.
  • Basic knowledge of MS Office and CRM tools.

Salary:

As per industry standards + performance-based incentives.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹10,858.47 - ₹35,277.71 per month
