Sales Designer

You’re a designer who knows what works.

You own the customer experience. From the first hello to the finished product at the end of the project.

You've worked with customers before. You know how to ask good questions, keep things organized, and follow through. You want to guide real decisions and see projects come together.

This role combines sales, design, and leadership. You will walk customers through our showroom, help them choose their right materials, create designs based on their needs and your experience, and guide the project smoothly throughout the entire process, all with the support of our team.

You'll start at the level which matches your skill set and grow into more complex designs and larger projects over time. If you're detail-oriented, always looking to grow, and take pride in doing the right things, we will teach you everything else.

What You’ll Do

You'll work directly with customers from the moment they walk in to the moment their project is completed.

Depending on your experience, you may start with simpler layouts and grow into more complex kitchen and bath designs over time.

You will:

• Greet walk-in customers and referrals and guide them through the showroom
• Ask the right questions to understand scope, timeline, budget, and decision-makers
• Help customers select cabinets, countertops, and other related materials
• Create quotes and management project files using our tools (Quickbooks, 2020 Design, Email, etc.)
• Design kitchen and bath layouts
• Explain layout options, tradeoffs, and constraints in a clear, confident way.
• Manage follow-ups, revisions, and customer communication
• Coordinate with project manager, and the team to ensure effective scheduling for the team.
• Catch issues early, measurements, spacing, appliance, or plumbing constraints.
• Improve your speed, accuracy, and confident with every project.

You won’t be thrown into the deep end. We train, review, and support. What matters is that you own your work and keep projects moving forward.

Who This Role Is For

This role is for someone who wants end-to-end responsibility.

You like having control of your work. You take pride in your work, accurate quotes, clean designs, and smooth projects. When something goes wrong, you communicate effectively through the pressure.

You don't need to be a senior designer on day one. You do need to be coachable, organized, and accountable.

What Experience will Help You Succeed

• Experience in retail, showroom, or customer-facing sales
• Comfort using a computer and learning new tools
• Ability to write clean emails and document projects clearly
• Experience with 2020 Design (not required)
• Familiarity with remodeling, cabinetry, or construction basics (preferred)
• Willingness to work weekends
• Bilingual skills are helpful but not required.

Schedule & Compensation

• Full-time, 5 days/week (Monday-Saturday showroom)
• Hourly pay + commission on revenue
• Paid training and development
• Clear advancement path

Pay: From $23.00 per hour
