Sales Designer

Our Sales Designer should have excellent verbal/written communication, time management and multitasking abilities. Candidates should already consider themselves a professional who is ready to take their career to the next level. There are no two projects alike. Daily travel is likely as consultation appointments are typically held at the customer’s existing home or at a new home construction site. Extensive training is provided as it pertains to our industry. Pay is based according to level of experience.

The Tailored Closet and Premier Garage of Madison is a national franchise; each location individually owned and operated. Our focus is on custom shelving solutions for areas inside the home such as closets, pantries, laundry and mudrooms along with cabinets, overhead or wall storage and concrete floor coating systems in the garage.

Requirements & Responsibilities:

• Closet or cabinet design experience required.
• Daily travel in Dane County and surrounding area.
• Ability to accurately measure with a tape or laser.
• Workflow Management, Lead tracking and Sales reporting
• Computer navigation and software savvy (MS Office).
• Organization and Time Management skills.
• Customer service and verbal/written communication skills.
• Motivated, energetic, and self-sufficient personality.
• Valid WI Driver's License
• Reliable insured vehicle required (Mileage Reimbursed).
• Attend appointments at customer's home, in our showroom or via Zoom.
• Manage clients while maintaining strong relationships and ensuring satisfaction throughout the design process and after installation.
• Collaborate with clients to build customized design plans that align with their vision and budget.
• Create effective designs using our unique software that optimize space utilization while enhancing the overall style and appeal.
• Interpret drawings and blueprints from new construction and remodel floorplans.
• Creative thought process with a focus on attention to detail.
• Networking with current builders and clients while generating new leads. No cold calling.
