Sales Development Manager - Malaysia & UAE
Job Description / Responsibility
-
Follow up on order placement lifting secondary sales, and retailing of AFBL products in Malaysia and UAE
-
Ensure timely order placement by Importer/Distributor as per target and market potential.

Monitor Proforma Invoice (PI), TT completion, and shipment timelines to ensure smooth supply.
-
Regularly check Importer warehouse stock levels and ensure FIFO compliance.
-
Identify and report slow-moving and non-moving stock to SM (Export), GM (Export), and Desk Officer.
-
Take necessary actions to liquidate slow-moving and non-moving stock.
-
Prevent excess stock accumulation beyond two months’ sales potential.
-
Ensure immediate action when warehouse stock is nil or near depletion.
-
Monitor secondary sales (Importer/Distributor to Retail & Wholesale market).
-
Conduct regular market visits across regions/districts and ensure product availability.
-
Prepare and submit monthly tour plans and monthly tour reports to Head Office.
-
Submit weekly market visit reports to GM, SM, and Desk Officer.
-
Monitor territory discipline and report violations with proper evidence.
-
Handle retailer/wholesaler complaints regarding product unavailability and ensure resolution.
-
Plan and coordinate trade programs, consumer promotions, and marketing activities with Head Office approval.

Collect, analyze, and update competitor product and pricing information every six months.

Monitor misuse of AFBL brand name or logo and report immediately to management.

Coordinate new product launches including sampling, product information, and market introduction.

Survey and report product damages in market and warehouse with proper documentation.

Supervise train monitor and evaluate the sales team performance and provide regular feedback to Head Office.
Educational Requirements
-
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, International Business, or related field
-
MBA (Major in Marketing/International Business) will be preferred
-
Professional training in Export Management or Supply Chain will be an added advantage
-
Skills Required: International/ Export Marketing, Regulatory Compliance, Inventory Management, Import Documentation, Dealer or Channel Development, Business Competitor Analysis, Warehouse Inventory Management
Experience Requirements

At least 3 year(s)
