Job Summary:

We are seeking a motivated, confident, and results-driven Sales Development Representative (SDR) to join our tech sales team. This role is heavily focused on outbound calling and direct client engagement. The SDR will be responsible for making high-volume calls, generating and qualifying leads, engaging potential clients, and setting up meetings and demos for the sales team.

The ideal candidate is comfortable on the phone, has strong communication skills, and thrives in a target-driven environment. This position plays a critical role in building the sales pipeline, increasing lead conversions, and supporting overall revenue growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct outbound prospecting via email, phone, LinkedIn, and other channels to generate qualified leads.
  • Qualify inbound leads and identify potential opportunities using company criteria.
  • Maintain and update CRM with accurate information on leads, opportunities, and communications.
  • Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to execute targeted campaigns and optimize outreach.
  • Schedule meetings and product demos for account executives.
  • Meet or exceed monthly lead generation and meeting-setting targets.
  • Research and understand prospects’ business needs, pain points, and technology landscape.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 1–2 years of experience in sales, business development, or customer-facing roles (tech industry preferred).
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal.
  • Familiarity with CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot, Zoho) and sales outreach tools.
  • Ability to research, analyze, and understand target accounts and industries.
  • Highly motivated, goal-oriented, and resilient in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Fluent spoken English with a neutral US or UK accent is mandatory and will be assessed during the interview process
  • Proven confidence and comfort in phone-based sales or cold calling
  • Strong verbal communication, listening, and persuasion skills
  • Experience with SaaS or B2B technology products.
  • Knowledge of sales prospecting tools (e.g., LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Outreach, Apollo).
  • Understanding of the sales process and pipeline management.

Performance Metrics:

  • Number of qualified leads generated per month.
  • Meetings or demos scheduled with target accounts.
  • Contribution to overall sales pipeline growth.
  • Accuracy and consistency of CRM updates and activity tracking.
