We are seeking a highly motivated, energetic, and results-driven Sales Development Representative (SDR) to join our dynamic team. Key Responsibilities:

1. Job Summary

The Sales Development Representative (SDR) is responsible for generating qualified leads and building a strong sales pipeline for the company’s IT/software solutions. This role focuses heavily on prospecting, cold emailing, cold calling, nurturing leads, research-based outreach, and scheduling meetings for the sales team. The SDR acts as the first point of contact for potential clients and plays a critical role in driving business growth.

2. Key Responsibilities

A. Lead Generation & Prospecting

  • Identify potential clients through market research, online platforms, and industry databases.
  • Conduct targeted outreach to companies that match the company’s Ideal Customer Profile (ICP).
  • Build, maintain, and update lead lists and prospect databases.

B. Cold Email Outreach

  • Write, execute, and optimize cold email campaigns to reach potential clients globally.
  • Personalize email templates based on client needs, industry, and technologies (Web, Mobile, SaaS, AI, DevOps, Cloud, etc.).
  • Monitor cold email performance (open rate, reply rate, bounce rate, link clicks).
  • Perform A/B testing for subject lines, message formats, and call-to-action improvements.
  • Maintain compliance with email sending best practices

C. Cold Calling

  • Conduct cold calls to decision-makers to introduce services and qualify prospects.
  • Present the company’s service offerings confidently and handle objections effectively.
  • Schedule introductory calls and discovery meetings for the Sales Manager / Business Development Lead.

D. Lead Qualification

  • Assess lead quality based on the company’s qualification criteria
  • Understand the client’s needs, budget, decision-making process, and timelines.
  • Convert marketing-generated leads (inbound) into qualified opportunities.

E. Odoo CRM Management

  • Maintain accurate records of all interactions and activities in the Odoo CRM.
  • Update lead status, schedule follow-ups, and track progress throughout the sales funnel.
  • Prepare weekly and monthly reports on leads, conversion rates, outreach metrics, and meetings booked.

F. Collaboration with Sales & Marketing Teams

  • Work closely with Sales Managers to hand over qualified leads.
  • Provide feedback to the marketing team regarding campaign performance and market insights.
  • Align outreach messaging with marketing guidelines to ensure consistency.

G. Market & Industry Research

  • Research competitor offerings, industry trends, and client pain points.
  • Identify emerging markets, potential niches, and new business opportunities.

3. Required Skills & Competencies

  • Proven track record of achieving or exceeding sales KPIs.
  • Experience with Odoo CRM or similar systems (HubSpot, Salesforce).
  • (Expertise in cold email writing, email automation tools, and deliverability basics.
  • Solid understanding of lead generation strategies and outbound sales processes.
  • Excellent communication (written & verbal) and interpersonal skills.
  • Persuasive negotiation ability and objection handling.
  • Time management, organization, and ability to manage multiple campaigns simultaneously.

4. Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, IT, Computer Science, or related field (preferred).
  • 1–3 years of experience in outbound sales, lead generation, or SDR role in an IT/software house.
  • Proven track record in cold outreach and achieving lead KPIs.
  • Knowledge of software development processes is a plus.

5. KPIs (Key Performance Indicators)

  • 80–120 outbound touches per day
  • 8–12 completed meetings per month
  • 3–5 qualified opportunities (SQLs) per month
  • 100% CRM accuracy
  • 15–25% lead-to-SQL conversion rate.
