One of our clients in Abu Dhabi is looking for Sales Director.

Key Responsibilities
  • Sales Leadership : Define and execute sales strategies aligned with company objectives, ensuring profitable growth and long-term client success.
  • Opportunity Creation : Expand the company's footprint in Government, Public, and Private Sectors by targeting new accounts, engaging C-level executives, and securing long-term agreements.
  • Client Relationship Management : Maintain and strengthen long-term client relationships, ensuring consistent value delivery and loyalty.
  • Solution Integration : Incorporate hardware and software into comprehensive, client-valued solutions that address strategic needs and prepare clients for seamless implementation.
  • Team Leadership : Build, mentor, and manage a high-performing sales team, fostering a culture of accountability, excellence, and innovation.
  • Partnership Management : Strengthen relationships with OEMs, vendors, and technology partners to enhance solution offerings and secure competitive advantages.
  • ClientEngagement : Develop trusted relationships with key accounts, understand client challenges, and deliver tailored solutions that create measurable value.
  • Revenue &Targets : Own annual sales targets, ensuring consistent achievement or overachievement through effective pipeline management and closing strategies.
  • Market Intelligence : Analyse industry trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to anticipate opportunities and shape offerings.
  • Market Branding : Drive company branding initiatives to strengthen market visibility and position the company as a trusted leader.
  • Representation : Act as the company's ambassador at industry events, exhibitions, and executive forums, increasing visibility and credibility.
Cross-Functional Integration & Forecasting
  • Operational Alignment : Work closely with Operations and Delivery teams to ensure seamless execution of client requirements, from contract signing to project go-live.
  • PMO Collaboration : Partner with the Project Management Office to align opportunities with delivery capacity, timelines, and risk management frameworks.
  • End-to-End Visibility : Establish strong governance frameworks for opportunity tracking, forecasting accuracy, and delivery readiness to ensure business growth is both achievable and sustainable.
  • Feedback Loop : Integrate client feedback and delivery outcomes into the sales cycle to continuously refine offerings and improve client satisfaction.
  • COO Support & Top Management : Support the COO by providing accurate forecasts, pipeline visibility, and sales performance reporting to drive strategic decision making.
OEM Partnership & Strategic Alliances
  • OEM Relationship Building : Develop and maintain senior-level relationships with key OEM companies to secure long term trust and collaboration.
  • Partnership Enhancement : Elevate the company's partnership tier with global technology leaders by achieving higher certification levels, co investments, and joint go to market initiatives.
  • Joint Solutions : Collaborate with OEMs to co create innovative solutions, align on business roadmaps, and deliver joint proposals that increase competitiveness in the market.
  • Market Recognition : Position the company as a preferred strategic partner with OEMs through consistent revenue contribution, deal pipeline growth, and executive level engagement.
  • Mutual Growth : Drive joint account planning and forecasting with OEMs to identify shared opportunities and accelerate business outcomes.
Sales Methodology & Customer Success
  • Structured Sales Process : Apply significant methodologies and frameworks to manage internal sales processes and procedures with discipline and consistency.
  • Customer Success Focus : Ensure every sales cycle is aligned with client needs, delivering measurable value and driving long term satisfaction.
  • Client Readiness : Actively prepare and guide clients for implementation success, ensuring smooth transitions from sales to delivery.
  • Competitive Advantage : Leverage structured approaches to shorten sales cycles, improve win rates, and maintain a competitive edge in the UAE market.
  • Continuous Improvement : Regularly refine sales procedures, tools, and engagement models to align with evolving market demands and ensure superior customer outcomes.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in business, IT, or related field (MBA preferred).
  • - years of proven success in IT solution sales, with minimum 5 years in a leadership role (Sales Director / Head of Sales / Regional Sales Lead).
  • Demonstrated success in scaling sales within System Integrator or Technology Solutions environments.
  • Strong engagement history with Government, Public, and Private Sector clients in UAE.
  • Proven strong communication network with C-level executives and decision makers at target customers.
  • Proven ability to deliver growth in high-value industries such as Oil & Gas, Aviation, Banking, and Telecom.
  • Track record of exceeding sales targets and building high-performance teams.

  • Resilience & Adaptability - Ability to thrive in competitive, fast changing markets with agility and focus.
Additional Professional Skills
  • Financial Acumen (P&L management, CAPEX / OPEX optimization).
  • Familiarity with UAE regulations, compliance frameworks, and defense grade security requirements.

  • - years of experience in IT solution sales (system integrator background preferred).

  • Strong network in Abu Dhabi and UAE market.
  • Demonstrated ability to achieve sales growth through client engagement and opportunity creation.
