Role Overview

GBS is looking for a high-performing Sales Director who can operate as an individual contributor while also leading a sales team. This role carries full ownership of revenue, gross margin, P&L, and achievement of the company’s annual business targets.

The ideal candidate will have strong experience in enterprise IT solutions sales, a hunter mindset, and the ability to close deals personally while driving team performance.

Key Responsibilities

Business, Revenue & P&L Ownership

  • Own and deliver annual revenue, gross margin, and P&L targets for GBS UAE
  • Drive profitable growth aligned with GBS business objectives
  • Ensure pricing discipline, margin control, and timely collections

Individual Contributor (Direct Sales)

  • Personally manage and close key enterprise and strategic accounts
  • Drive the complete sales cycle: prospecting, solutioning, negotiation, closure, and collections
  • Act as a Techno-Commercial Consultant, positioning GBS IT solutions based on client needs
  • Build strong relationships with CEO and senior stakeholders

Team Leadership

  • Build, manage, and mentor a sales team to achieve individual and collective targets
  • Conduct pipeline reviews, forecasting, and performance tracking
  • Coach team members on solution selling and deal execution

Sales Planning & Execution

  • Develop account-level and territory-level sales plans
  • Maintain accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual forecasts
  • Lead RFI, RFP, SOW, proposal, and presentation efforts in collaboration with Pre-Sales and delivery teams

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in any discipline (MBA / PG in Sales or Business Management preferred)
  • 8–12 years of sales experience, with 5+ years in IT Solutions / IT Services sales
  • Proven experience in UAE market with enterprise customers
  • Prior experience handling team management and P&L responsibility

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED15,000.00 - AED30,000.00 per month
