Role Overview
GBS is looking for a high-performing Sales Director who can operate as an individual contributor while also leading a sales team. This role carries full ownership of revenue, gross margin, P&L, and achievement of the company’s annual business targets.
The ideal candidate will have strong experience in enterprise IT solutions sales, a hunter mindset, and the ability to close deals personally while driving team performance.
Key Responsibilities
Business, Revenue & P&L Ownership
- Own and deliver annual revenue, gross margin, and P&L targets for GBS UAE
- Drive profitable growth aligned with GBS business objectives
- Ensure pricing discipline, margin control, and timely collections
Individual Contributor (Direct Sales)
- Personally manage and close key enterprise and strategic accounts
- Drive the complete sales cycle: prospecting, solutioning, negotiation, closure, and collections
- Act as a Techno-Commercial Consultant, positioning GBS IT solutions based on client needs
- Build strong relationships with CEO and senior stakeholders
Team Leadership
- Build, manage, and mentor a sales team to achieve individual and collective targets
- Conduct pipeline reviews, forecasting, and performance tracking
- Coach team members on solution selling and deal execution
Sales Planning & Execution
- Develop account-level and territory-level sales plans
- Maintain accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual forecasts
- Lead RFI, RFP, SOW, proposal, and presentation efforts in collaboration with Pre-Sales and delivery teams

Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in any discipline (MBA / PG in Sales or Business Management preferred)
- 8–12 years of sales experience, with 5+ years in IT Solutions / IT Services sales
- Proven experience in UAE market with enterprise customers
- Prior experience handling team management and P&L responsibility
