Sales Director – Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) for Physician Practices

We are seeking an experienced Sales Director to lead a high-performing team selling end‑to‑end Revenue Cycle Management solutions to private clinics and physician groups. Your team will focus on independent practices and day surgery centers, typically 1–25 physicians or more, across specialties.

About the Role

You will manage and coach a team of 4–5 sales executives responsible for selling our RCM services, including medical billing, coding, collections, denial management, and related back‑office solutions, directly to physicians and clinic owners. The ideal leader understands the financial and operational pressures on private practices and can translate our offering into clear business outcomes: higher collections, fewer denials, and reduced administrative burden.

What You’ll Lead & Do
  • Build, lead, and mentor a team of 4–5 field/inside sales executives calling on private clinics, physician practices, and day surgery centers.
  • Drive new business for our RCM services: medical billing, coding support, end‑to‑end claims processing, denial management, AR follow‑up, and patient and insurance collections.
  • Position solutions that recover “money left on the table” through improved coding accuracy, denial resolution, and optimized collection workflows.
  • Sell additional back‑office offerings such as compliance support, data security, reporting, and other practice operations services.
  • Set targets, forecast pipeline, track performance metrics, and ensure your team consistently meets or exceeds quota.
  • Coach reps on consultative selling to physicians, practice managers, and administrators, including financial value justification.
Ideal Background
  • Proven experience as a sales leader in healthcare, preferably selling RCM, medical billing, practice management, or healthcare BPO services to physician practices and clinics.
  • Track record managing a team similar to pharmaceutical reps, DME reps, or pharmacy sales teams calling on providers.
  • Strong understanding of physician practice revenue cycle: coding, claims submission, denials, AR, patient and insurance collections.
  • Experience selling into private clinics, group practices, ambulatory surgery/day surgery centers; existing relationships a plus.
  • Excellent leadership, coaching, communication, and pipeline management skills.
Nice to Have
  • Prior experience in pharmacy, durable medical equipment, or other provider‑facing healthcare sales roles.
  • Familiarity with practice management / EMR systems and healthcare compliance and data privacy requirements.
