Sales Engineer

Job Title: Sales Engineer (UAE Based)
Location: Dubai Silicon Oasis, UAE
Job Time: Full Time - Onsite
Industry: Tents & Tensile Shade Structures | Construction | Steel & Aluminum Fabrication | Chemicals (Hilti) | Related Industrial Sectors
Working Hours: 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM (UAE Time)
Compensation: 7000 AED TO 8500 AED + Performance-based commission

Qualifications & Experience

  • Experience: Minimum 3–5 years in technical or project-based sales within construction, fabrication, or event fit-out industries.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Mechanical, Steel Structures, or Architecture Engineering (highly preferred).
  • License: Valid UAE driving license is mandatory.

Core Competencies

  • Strong technical knowledge of tensile structures, steel fabrication, and related systems.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills with proven persuasive ability.
  • Skilled in client handling and relationship management.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and BOQs.
  • Proficiency in ERP-based sales systems and project documentation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist the Sales Manager in implementing and executing sales strategies.
  • Prepare technical proposals and support pricing estimations.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with consultants, contractors, and clients.
  • Conduct site visits and client meetings to understand requirements and provide technical input.
  • Collaborate with engineering and production teams to ensure accurate solution delivery.
  • Research market trends and identify new project opportunities.
  • Submit weekly activity updates and lead progress reports to the Sales Manager.
  • Contribute to achieving monthly sales targets through active client engagement and follow-ups.
