Sales Engineer

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced and knowledgeable Sales Engineer to join our leading home automation company.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving sales of our smart home solutions, including CCTV, home automation, and networking services, by developing and maintaining relationships with clients, conducting market research, and identifying new business opportunities. As an Outdoor Sales Engineer, you will leverage your technical expertise to provide solutions tailored to client needs and ensure smooth installation and after-sales support.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify potential clients and generate new business through networking and referrals.
  • Conduct technical presentations and product demonstrations to prospective clients.
  • Provide consultative solutions to clients based on their specific requirements.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients to ensure repeat business.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop promotional materials and campaigns.
  • Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities for growth.
  • Provide feedback to management on customer needs and product improvements.
  • Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and pipeline status.
  • Oversee the installation process and provide technical guidance to ensure successful delivery of services.
  • Handle after-sales support, including troubleshooting, maintenance, and addressing customer concerns.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
  • Proven experience in outdoor sales, preferably in the smart home or technology sector.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and CRM software.
  • Valid driver's license and willingness to travel within the region.

Desired Skills

  • In-depth knowledge of smart home technologies, CCTV systems, and networking solutions.
  • Strong technical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to analyze sales data, market trends, and provide technical solutions.
  • Experience in project management and customer relationship management.

Work Environment

  • This position requires regular travel to meet clients and attend industry events.
  • Flexibility in working hours may be required to accommodate client schedules.

Salary Structure

  • The salary structure for the Outdoor Sales Engineer will be primarily commission-based, incentivizing performance and sales achievements.
  • The commission will be calculated based on the total sales generated each month, with higher commission rates for exceeding sales targets.
  • Additionally, the company will provide a company car and cover gas expenses to support the Outdoor Sales Engineer's ability to reach clients effectively.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: QAR3,000.00 - QAR8,000.00 per month
