METCO Qatar Trading W.L.L. is a leading provider of HVAC, PV, and Water Heating solutions in Qatar, backed by 18+ years of engineering and project experience. Our portfolio includes air conditioning systems, ventilation and smoke management solutions, air distribution products, boilers, and solar/electric water heating systems.

We are expanding our team and seeking highly active, self-driven Sales Engineers who can independently generate new business and strengthen our market presence.


Role: Sales Engineer – Water Heating Solutions - Aftermarket, Spare Parts & Maintenance Services for Mechanical Systems (HVAC, Cooling Towers, Boilers, etc..)


Full-time, on-site (Doha, Qatar)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Generate new business independently through client visits, market research, and active prospecting.
  • Manage full sales cycle: inquiries, proposals, pricing, negotiation, and closing.
  • Provide technical solutions, selections, and product presentations.
  • Build relationships with consultants, contractors, and end users.
  • Follow up on tenders, quotations, and ongoing projects.
  • Meet monthly and quarterly sales targets.
  • Develop aftermarket business: spare parts, retrofits, and maintenance contracts.
  • Conduct regular visits to FM companies and facility teams to build a strong pipeline.
  • Prepare technical and commercial offers and ensure high conversion rates.
  • Coordinate with service teams for site visits and follow-ups.
  • Achieve assigned sales KPIs and support revenue growth.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
  • Experience in Water heating, or mechanical systems is preferred.
  • Strong technical understanding and ability to propose engineering solutions.
  • Proven ability to work independently , generate leads, and close deals.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Self-motivated, organized, and target-driven.
  • Proficiency in MS Office; CRM knowledge is a plus.
