Sales Engineer

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and technically proficient Sales Chemical Engineer with hands-on experience in HACH instruments and industrial or laboratory chemical products. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving sales, managing client accounts, providing technical support, and identifying new business opportunities within the assigned region or industry segment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Sales & Business Development:
• Promote and sell HACH analytical instruments and chemical solutions to customers in laboratories, water treatment plants, and industrial sectors.
• Identify and target new clients while maintaining and expanding relationships with existing customers.
• Conduct product presentations, demos, and trials at client sites.
• Technical Expertise:
• Provide pre- and post-sales technical support, especially related to HACH water quality meters, reagents, and related instrumentation.
• Troubleshoot customer issues and coordinate with the service/technical team to resolve them efficiently.
• Prepare technical proposals, quotations, and tender documents.
• Market Intelligence & Reporting:
• Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback.
• Maintain up-to-date CRM entries, sales forecasts, and regular reporting to management.
• Training & Collaboration:
• Train clients and junior staff on the correct usage of instruments and chemicals.
• Collaborate with the internal technical, procurement, and logistics teams to ensure seamless order execution.

Requirements:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, or a related field.
• Experience: Minimum 3–5 years of experience in technical sales of HACH instruments and/or chemical products.
• Knowledge: Strong understanding of analytical instrumentation, water quality analysis, and industrial chemicals.
• Skills:
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Strong technical aptitude with the ability to explain complex topics to non-technical audiences.
• Self-driven, results-oriented, and able to work independently.
• Language: Proficiency in English (Arabic is a plus).
• License: Valid UAE driving license (if applicable).

Preferred Experience:

• Working knowledge of Lovibond, Myron L, OHAUS, or similar lab/field meters.
• Previous experience in water treatment, environmental labs, or industrial chemical sectors.
