The Opportunity
We're seeking a Sales Engineer who combines technical understanding with proven sales capabilities to drive THTC's growth across the GCC. You'll bridge the gap between our advanced technology solutions and client business needs—translating complex traffic and transportation engineering, GIS, ITS, and mobility concepts into compelling business value for government and enterprise decision-makers.
This role owns the full sales cycle—from identifying opportunities and generating leads to closing deals and ensuring successful project handover. Domain experience is strongly preferred: we're looking for candidates with a background in traffic engineering, transportation engineering, ITS, GIS, mobility solutions, or related infrastructure sectors. However, exceptional B2B sales professionals with strong technical backgrounds who can quickly learn our domain will also be considered.
What You'll Do
- Business Development & Sales: Research and identify opportunities across government and enterprise sectors. Generate qualified leads through strategic outreach and networking. Manage inbound leads and build a robust sales pipeline.
- Technical Consultation: Understand client challenges and present THTC's solutions (traffic monitoring, THTC Maps platform, smart mobility, and consulting services). Deliver technical presentations and product demonstrations. Coordinate PoCs with engineering teams.
- Proposal Development: contribute to the technical and financial proposals. tender responses for government and enterprise RFPs/RFQs. Collaborate with Product, Engineering, and cross-functional teams on scoping and pricing.
- Relationship Management: Build strong relationships with key stakeholders in ministries, municipalities, and enterprises. Navigate complex decision-making processes. Identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities.
- Market Intelligence: Stay current on industry trends, Vision 2030 programs, and competitive landscape. Represent THTC at conferences and events. Travel regularly within KSA and occasionally to other GCC countries or worldwide.
QualificationsDomain Experience (Strongly Preferred)
- Background in traffic engineering, transportation engineering, GIS, ITS, mobility solutions, or related technical sectors – This domain knowledge is highly valued and will significantly strengthen your application. Candidates without direct domain experience but with strong technical B2B sales track records and the ability to learn quickly will also be considered.
Professional Experience & Education
- 2-4 years of proven B2B/B2G sales experience with demonstrated track record of meeting or exceeding targets
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Traffic, Civil, Transportation, Software, GIS, IT, or related technical field)
- Experience selling technical solutions, enterprise software, or professional services to government or large enterprises
Technical Understanding
- Ability to understand and explain traffic engineering concepts, GIS technologies, mapping platforms, data analytics, and ITS solutions
Note: We understand you may not have deep expertise in all areas. The key is having an engineering mindset and the ability to learn technical concepts during onboarding.
Essential Skills
- Fluency in Arabic (spoken and written) – Required
- Excellent English communication skills – Required
- Strong presentation and stakeholder management abilities
- Exceptional research and opportunity identification skills
- Self-motivated with ability to work independently and meet targets
- Willingness to travel frequently within Saudi Arabia and occasionally across the GCC and the globe.

- Saudi nationality is preferred
- Existing network within government ministries, municipalities, or enterprise organizations in KSA/GCC
- Experience with government tenders, RFPs, and complex enterprise sales cycles
