To maximise Volvo Truck sales to fleet, trade, and walk-in customers.
Key Accountabilities - Call on customers at predetermined frequencies based on ownership, size, business type, and site location.
- Maintain an average of at least 5 calls per day, with a monthly coverage of no less than 95% of the predetermined calls.
- Prepare daily Call Reports detailing calls made, including competitive information and prospective sales leads.
- At the start of each week, submit a list of customers to be visited during that week to the Sales Manager.
- Keep up-to-date records of each customer's activities, update the Truck population list, monitor resellers, and report competitive activities to the Sales Manager.
- Have thorough knowledge of the product line and technical specifications.
- Assist the Sales Manager in setting departmental objectives.
- Help achieve sales targets through action plans and contribute to meeting the budgeted sales.
Knowledge, Skills, and Aptitude - Educational Qualifications and Certifications: Recognised qualification, preferably a Degree or Diploma in Engineering, Business Studies, or Marketing.
- Knowledge: Technical and product knowledge relevant to trucks and construction equipment.
- Technical Skills: Strong sales and product presentation skills.
- Language Skills: Arabic is desirable; English is essential.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years as a salesperson with a major dealer or importer of trucks or construction equipment.
Key Interactions - Internal Contacts: Workshop Supervisor, Showroom Supervisor, Parts and Service Sales Reps, Supervisor F&A.
- External Contacts: Customers, resellers, and other industry stakeholders.
