Role Overview
The Sales Engineer – EOT Cranes will focus on selling overhead crane solutions and related material handling systems to industrial customers. The role demands strong application knowledge, the ability to understand production environments, and a consultative approach to designing and selling EOT crane systems and upgrades.
Role Purpose
To grow the EOT crane and material handling portfolio by positioning the company as a trusted solutions partner for factories, warehouses, fabrication shops, and industrial facilities.
Key Responsibilities
1. Industrial Market Development
- Identify and develop opportunities for new EOT cranes, modifications, upgrades, and modernization projects in sectors such as steel, fabrication, logistics, manufacturing, automotive, and warehousing.
- Build a structured visit plan for key industrial zones and target customers.
- Develop and maintain a robust sales funnel aligned with order intake targets.
2. Application Study & Solution Design
- Conduct plant/site visits to understand material flow, load characteristics, duty cycles, and operational constraints.
- Work with engineering teams to define crane specifications (capacity, span, lift height, duty class, hoist/trolley configuration, speeds, control type, etc.).
- Propose solutions that optimize safety, productivity, lifecycle cost, and future scalability.
3. Techno-Commercial Proposals
- Prepare detailed proposals, including layout drawings (with support from design), technical specifications, and commercial offers.
- Present solutions to customer technical, operations, and management teams, addressing technical queries and ROI justification.
- Support tender submissions, pre-bid meetings, and technical evaluations.
4. Key Account & Relationship Management
- Develop strong relationships with plant heads, maintenance managers, project teams, and procurement.
- Drive repeat business through AMCs, upgrades, and capacity enhancements.
- Maintain high responsiveness for technical clarifications, inspection requests, and post-sales support coordination.
5. Internal Coordination & Project Handover
- Liaise with engineering, project management, procurement, and service teams to ensure smooth order execution.
- Clearly hand over technical and commercial commitments made to customers.
- Follow up on commissioning, handover, and performance issues, ensuring customer satisfaction.
6. Market & Competitor Insight
- Track industrial capex, brownfield/greenfield projects, and modernization trends.
- Monitor competitor offerings, key differentiators, and pricing models.
- Provide feedback to management on product positioning, features, and service offerings.
Candidate Profile
- Education: Degree/Diploma in Mechanical / Electrical / Industrial Engineering preferred.
- Experience:
- 3–8 years of experience in sales of EOT cranes, hoists, material handling systems, or industrial automation solutions.
- Experience with industrial clients and plant engineering teams is essential.
- Skills & Competencies:
- Strong understanding of EOT crane design basics, duty classifications, standards, and control systems.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and plant layouts.
- Consultative selling mindset with strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

Pay: AED6,000.00 - AED12,000.00 per month
