Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales Engineer – Fit-Out to join our team in Doha. The ideal candidate will have proven experience in fit-out, interior, or construction sales and will be responsible for managing the complete sales cycle—from lead generation through project handover. This role requires a strong blend of technical knowledge, commercial awareness, and client relationship management.
Key ResponsibilitiesLead Generation & Client Acquisition
- Identify and develop new business opportunities in commercial, residential, and hospitality sectors.
- Understand client requirements and recommend suitable interior and fit-out solutions.
Sales Strategy & Execution
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve and exceed sales targets.
- Manage the full sales cycle including prospecting, client meetings, proposals, negotiations, and closing.
Product & Technical Expertise
- Maintain in-depth knowledge of interior materials, finishes, and fit-out systems.
- Provide technical guidance on design concepts, materials, specifications, and execution methodologies.
Client Consultation & Site Coordination
- Conduct site visits, surveys, and client meetings to assess project requirements accurately.
- Participate in design discussions to ensure alignment with client expectations and project feasibility.
Proposals, BOQs & Pricing
- Prepare and present technical proposals, BOQs, cost estimates, and quotations.
- Negotiate scope, pricing, timelines, and contractual terms with clients.
Project Coordination
- Coordinate closely with project managers, designers, suppliers, and subcontractors.
- Support smooth project execution and ensure timely delivery of fit-out works.
Market Intelligence & Relationships
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and emerging materials or design innovations in Qatar.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants, designers, and contractors to drive repeat business.
Reporting & CRM
- Maintain accurate sales records, pipelines, and client interactions using CRM systems.
- Provide regular sales forecasts and performance reports to management.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Architecture, Interior Design, or a related discipline.
- Experience: Minimum 3+ years of sales experience in fit-out, interior, or construction industries (Qatar/GCC experience preferred).
- Technical Skills: Strong understanding of drawings, materials, design concepts, and fit-out execution.
- Sales Capability: Proven track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets.
- Communication: Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills.
- Problem-Solving: Ability to analyze client needs and deliver tailored solutions.
- Software: Knowledge of AutoCAD, SketchUp, or similar tools is an advantage.
- License: Valid Qatar Driving License (mandatory).
