Job Description
We are looking for a dynamic and results-oriented Sales Engineer – Fit-Out to join our team in Doha. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in sales within the fit-out, interiors, or construction sectors, with the ability to manage the complete sales cycle—from lead generation to project handover. This role requires excellent communication, technical knowledge, and client management skills.
Key Responsibilities
Lead Generation & Client Acquisition:
- Identify potential clients across commercial, residential, and hospitality sectors.
- Understand client requirements and propose suitable interior and fit-out solutions.
Sales Strategy & Execution:
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies to meet and exceed sales targets.
- Manage the full sales cycle, including prospecting, client meetings, proposals, and closing.
Product & Technical Knowledge:
- Maintain strong knowledge of interior materials, finishes, and fit-out solutions.
- Provide clients with technical advice on design, materials, specifications, and execution methods.
Client Consultation:
- Conduct site visits, surveys, and client meetings to accurately understand project needs.
- Collaborate on design discussions and ensure alignment with client vision.
Technical Proposals & Quotations:
- Prepare, present, and negotiate technical proposals, BOQs, quotations, and design concepts.
Project Coordination:
- Work closely with project managers, designers, suppliers, and contractors.
- Ensure smooth project execution and timely delivery of fit-out works.
Negotiation & Closing:
- Negotiate prices, scope, terms, and timelines, ensuring mutually beneficial agreements.
Market Analysis:
- Monitor local market trends, competition, and new materials or design innovations in Qatar.
Relationship Building:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants, designers, and contractors.
- Encourage repeat business through exceptional service and follow-up.
Reporting & CRM:
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities, pipeline, and client interactions using CRM tools.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Architecture, Interior Design, or related fields.
- Experience: Minimum 3+ years of sales experience in the fit-out, interior, or construction industry (Qatar/GCC experience preferred).
- Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of materials, design concepts, drawings, and fit-out project execution.
- Sales Skills: Proven ability to meet or exceed sales targets.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Problem-Solving: Strong ability to analyze client needs and offer tailored solutions.
- Project Management: Experience in coordinating with design and execution teams.
- Software: Familiarity with AutoCAD, SketchUp, or similar tools is an advantage.
- Driving License: Valid Qatar driving license is mandatory.
