Job Summary
We are seeking a strong Techno-Commercial Product & CRM Lead who can independently own and drive multiple marine product lines end-to-end while maintaining strict CRM discipline. This role requires a hands-on Sales Engineer with deep exposure to the marine equipment / ship repair ecosystem, capable of managing the full sales cycle—from enquiry to closure—while building long-term customer relationships.
The role combines technical solutioning, commercial ownership, CRM lead management, and business development support.
Product Lines to be Handled
- MachineAstro – AI-based condition monitoring systems
- Propellers – SGP and related systems
- EBM – Electric propulsion solutions
- Mac-N-Hom – Steering systems
- CRM Ownership – Lead management, pipeline tracking, reporting
Key Responsibilities (Must-Have)Techno-Commercial Sales Ownership
- Handle product enquiries and client requirements independently.
- Qualify technical and commercial needs and propose suitable solutions.
- Prepare costing, quotations, and techno-commercial proposals.
- Support negotiations and assist management in deal closures.
CRM & Lead Management
- Own CRM operations on a daily basis (Odoo, Zoho, or similar).
- Ensure accurate lead entry, follow-ups, reminders, and pipeline stage updates.
- Maintain structured follow-up discipline with clients and principals.
- Prepare weekly CRM pipeline reports and status updates.
OEM / Principal Coordination
- Coordinate with OEMs and principals for technical clarifications, approvals, and documentation.
- Arrange and participate in product training, demos, and knowledge sessions.
- Manage product documentation, specifications, and certifications.
Customer Relationship Management
- Build and maintain relationships with:
- Ship owners
- Technical superintendents
- Ship managers
- Shipyards and repair yards
- Conduct client meetings, site visits, and technical discussions.
Business Development & Marketing Support
- Support marketing and BD activities including exhibitions, presentations, demos, and partner meetings.
- Assist in identifying new opportunities within existing and new accounts.
Target & Opportunity Management
- Create and maintain product-wise opportunity lists.
- Drive monthly targets covering leads generated, meetings conducted, quotations issued, and orders received.
- Proactively push opportunities through the sales funnel.
Candidate Profile RequiredEducational Background
- Marine Engineering / Mechanical Engineering background preferred.
Experience
- Minimum 3–5 years of relevant experience in marine equipment / industrial technical sales.
- Proven exposure to marine systems, ship repair, or ship management ecosystem in the UAE or GCC region.
- Demonstrated experience handling specific products or projects (not general trading sales).
Skills & Competencies
- Strong techno-commercial selling capability.
- Clear understanding of the full sales cycle (lead → qualification → proposal → close).
- Excellent communication and client-handling skills.
- High follow-up discipline and ability to work independently.
- Comfortable working with CRM systems and structured reporting.
Mandatory Requirements
- Valid UAE Driving License – Mandatory
- Willingness to travel for site visits, client meetings, and exhibitions within the UAE and region.
