Position Overview

We are looking for a proactive and technically skilled Sales & Project Engineer specializing in Smart Home and Building Automation solutions. The selected candidate will manage the entire project lifecycle—from lead generation and client engagement to system design, installation, commissioning, and final handover. This role requires a strong blend of sales acumen and engineering expertise, with practical experience in smart home technologies including lighting control, automation platforms, home networking, CCTV, access control, and ELV systems. Experience with platforms such as KNX, Control4, Crestron, Lutron, or similar systems is essential.

Key ResponsibilitiesBusiness Development & Sales

• Identify, qualify, and pursue new business opportunities in the Smart Home and Building Automation sector across Qatar.
• Conduct client meetings, deliver product presentations, and propose tailored automation solutions.
• Prepare commercial offers, technical proposals, and quotations based on project requirements.

Technical Design & Site Activities

• Perform site assessments, collect technical requirements, and develop system designs and wiring schematics.
• Prepare technical documentation including BOQs, system diagrams, and design reports.

Project Execution & Management

• Oversee all phases of project execution including planning, installation supervision, configuration, testing, commissioning, and handover.
• Coordinate with suppliers, contractors, and internal teams to ensure seamless project delivery.
• Monitor project schedules, resources, and quality standards.

Client Support & Relationship Management

• Provide post-installation support, troubleshooting, and maintenance when required.
• Maintain long-term business relationships with clients through consistent follow-up and support.

Market & Technology Awareness

• Stay informed about the latest technologies, trends, and innovations in Smart Home and Building Automation systems.

Qualifications & ExperienceEducation

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Electronics, Mechatronics Engineering, or a related field.

Experience

• 3–6 years of experience in Smart Home Automation, Building Automation, or ELV Systems.
• Qatar or GCC experience is an advantage.

Technical Skills

• Hands-on experience with automation technologies such as KNX, Control4, Crestron, Lutron, or equivalent platforms.
• Strong understanding of AV integration, CCTV, access control, home networking, and related ELV systems.
• Ability to read and interpret schematics, layouts, and technical drawings.

Soft Skills

• Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation abilities.
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Customer-focused mindset with strong problem-solving abilities.

Other Requirements

• Valid Qatar Driving License preferred.
