Sales Engineer – Steel Fabrication

Job Description:

We are seeking a proactive and technically skilled Sales Engineer with strong experience in the steel fabrication, steel Repair and maintenance industries.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for generating sales, managing existing clients, developing new business opportunities in structural steel, custom fabrication, machining, welding, installation, supply, shutdown maintenance jobs in construction, oil and gas industries…etc

Key Responsibilities:

- Generate new business and manage existing clients.

-Prepare technical-commercial quotations for fabrication jobs.

-Conduct site visits, collect requirements, and propose solutions.

-Coordinate with engineering and workshop teams on job execution.

-Follow up on inquiries, Quotations, orders, approvals, deliveries, and payments.

Requirements:

- Bachelor’s degree/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering / Industrial Engineering OR relevant technical field.

- 3–5 years of sales experience in steel fabrication industry in Qatar.

- Strong knowledge of structural steel, welding, machining & installation works.

- Ability to read drawings and understand project specifications.

- Excellent communication & negotiation skills.

- Valid Qatar driving license.

- local Qatar market sales experience is must and local transferable with driving licence is preferable
