Sales Engineer - Valves

BTECH/BE-Mechanical engineering with min-2-4 Years of experience in Valves and instrumentation-sales.

Mainly Oil and Gas exposure in the similar field.

• Preparing Quotation/ Price estimation.
• Identifying potential projects through direct contacts with consultants and contractors and different sources of information or in friend’s circle.
• Networking/establishing relations with appropriate contacts that would help market research (competition, price levels, marketing plan input) information gathering, offering/bidding, follow up.etc.
• Study project specifications and selecting the most suitable products.
• Preparing offers and revising offers as if necessary.
• Follow-up with appropriate contacts (Technical and commercial) on Submitted offers to secure a positive closing.
• Following up on submittals with consultants in order to get approval, attending consultant meeting and preparing reply for consultant comments.
• Supervising invoicing, delivery to site.
• Following up on customer accounts and ensuring that payment schedule is well executed and or credit terms are well respected.
• Identify product development needs and suggest new products within the existing product line.
• Coordinate with suppliers in sending RFQs, Special price requests etc.
• Monitor and suggest price positioning in markets.
• In all interactions with third parties and existing or potential customers, promotes the image of the company by demonstrating professionalism, Reliability, and technical knowledge, and up holds the high standards of the company.• Answer customers’ Queries and maintain good relations with them.

• Receiving customer complaints and requesting corrective action through service dept.

• Customer wise follow up and submit fortnightly report.

• Opening a job and executing till job closing

• Floating local purchase enquiries, Preparing FPO’s, LPO’s and follow ups.

• Maintaining stock Movement and keeping track.

• Interacting with Accounts department for Invoicing to customer and Payment for the suppliers (Payable and receivable etc)

• Preparing monthly sale report.

Pay: QAR4,000.00 - QAR6,000.00 per month
