Key Responsibilities
- Find and meet with general contractors, architects, and structural engineers to win new projects.
- Read structural drawings, blueprints, and Bill of Quantities (BOQs) to understand project needs.
- Coordinate with our internal design and estimation teams to prepare accurate cost proposals.
- Present technical solutions to clients and negotiate contract pricing to close deals.
- Manage the customer relationship from the initial inquiry until the project starts production.
- Collaborate closely with the estimation, design, and engineering teams to prepare accurate cost estimates, technical submissions, and commercial tenders.
- Negotiate contract terms, pricing, and payment conditions with clients to maximize profitability while ensuring client satisfaction.
- Ensure a smooth handover of secured projects to the project execution and fabrication teams.
Requirements
- Education: Degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience: 2+ years of technical sales experience in structural steel, PEB, or heavy metal fabrication.
- Skills: Ability to read construction drawings, strong negotiation skills, and clear communication.
- Network: Existing contacts with local contractors and consultants is a big plus.
- Travel: Must have a valid driver’s license and willingness to visit project sites.
