Sales Estimation Engineer - Lighting

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to join our team, focusing on lighting project estimation, lighting control design, and commissioning for architectural and commercial projects.

As a Sales Estimation Engineer specializing in lighting solutions, you will be responsible for assessing customer needs, designing appropriate lighting systems, and providing accurate cost estimates to support the sales process.

Your role will involve collaborating with sales teams, engineers, and clients to ensure that the proposed lighting solutions and systems meets both technical requirements and budgetary constraints.

Experience Required: 2–4 years

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare cost estimates and BOQs for lighting projects
• Review drawings, specifications, and tender documents
• Design and review lighting control systems (DALI, KNX, DMX, Casambi)
• Support lighting calculations and coordination with lighting designers
• Assist in value engineering and technical submittals
• Coordinate with suppliers and contractors for pricing and technical clarifications
• Supervise installation activities and manage testing, commissioning, and system handover for lighting control systems
• Ensure compliance with project specifications, standards, and local regulations

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent
• 2–4 years of experience in lighting projects and control systems
• Strong knowledge of lighting controls (DALI, KNX, DMX, Casambi)
• Experience in estimation, BOQs, and tendering
• Familiarity with AutoCAD and Dialux or Relux is preferred
• Strong communication, analytical, and coordination skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
