Job Requirements: Duties & responsibilities


  • Acquire fresh leads and potential clients through diverse channels, including outreach calls and business events, for the purpose of broadening our customer portfolio.
  • To achieve the desired figures and effectively contribute to the profitability of a territory, it is crucial to develop and bring in a robust book of business while maintaining accountability.
  • Identify and qualify potential clients by thoroughly understanding their business needs and requirements.
  • Conduct market research to stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and new sales strategies.
  • Develop and deliver persuasive sales presentations to prospective clients, highlighting the benefits and value of our freight forwarding services
  • Negotiate pricing, terms, and conditions with clients in order to secure profitable contracts and business agreements
  • Collaborate with the operations team to ensure a smooth transition from the sales stage to the operational stage for new clients.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients to secure repeat business and referrals.
  • Provide timely and accurate sales forecasts and reports to management, including prospecting activities, pipelines, and sales performance metrics.
  • Regularly update the management team with comprehensive reports, on CRM-sales activities, revenue generation, and market insights.


Knowledge


  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field
  • Experience: minimum 2 years of work experience


Skills


  • Proven track record of successful business development within the Sales industry.
  • Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Exceptional ability to build and maintain client relationships.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Knowledge of logistics operations, industry regulations, and international trade practices.
  • Well-developed analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Self-motivated with a proactive approach to achieving sales targets
  • Fluency in English is required. Knowledge of Arabic is a plus
