Sales Executive – Transport/Trucking Industry

Location: Street 3B, Al Quoz 1 – Dubai

About the Role

We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Sales Executive with proven experience in the transport, trucking, logistics, or freight sector. The ideal candidate will be responsible for acquiring new business, maintaining strong client relationships, and ensuring a smooth, efficient experience for all customers. This role requires active inbound and outbound communication, territory and account management, coordination with operations teams, and achievement of sales targets.

Key ResponsibilitiesBusiness Development & Sales

  • Proactively identify, target, and acquire new clients within the transport/trucking and logistics sector.
  • Engage confidently with potential customers through outbound calls, visits, meetings, and messages.
  • Promote company transport services (e.g., trucking, deliveries, logistics support) while understanding client operational needs.
  • Prepare and present quotations, proposals, and service offerings to prospective clients.
  • Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts in coordination with management.
  • Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets (new accounts, revenue, and volume).

Client Management & Account Handling

  • Manage and nurture relationships with existing clients to ensure retention and repeat business.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned accounts, addressing inquiries, routes, schedules, and service requirements.
  • Conduct structured follow-ups and provide timely updates to clients regarding deliveries or operations.
  • Identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling additional services.
  • Resolve client complaints in collaboration with operations and ensure timely issue closure.

Coordination & Operations Support

  • Collaborate closely with the Operations and Dispatch teams to ensure smooth planning and execution of trips and deliveries.
  • Communicate customer requirements accurately to logistics teams for effective delivery management.
  • Monitor service performance, ensure commitments are met, and proactively address delays or challenges.
  • Support internal communication flow between Sales, Customer Support, and Operations to deliver a seamless service experience.

Administrative & Reporting

  • Update CRM systems, Excel trackers, customer databases, and lead sheets with complete and accurate information.
  • Maintain documentation of client interactions, inquiries, pricing, agreements, and follow-up schedules.
  • Prepare weekly/monthly reports on leads, conversions, client activities, and revenue generation.
  • Ensure compliance with company processes, documentation standards, and service-level agreements.

Teamwork & Continuous Improvement

  • Work collaboratively with internal teams to improve service delivery and enhance customer satisfaction.
  • Share market insights, client feedback, and competitive intelligence to support strategy development.
  • Demonstrate accountability, ownership, and a growth mindset in daily performance and team activities.

Required Qualifications

  • 1–3 years of proven sales experience in the transport, trucking, logistics, or freight industry (mandatory).
  • Strong understanding of transport operations, routes, dispatching, and trucking workflows.
  • Confident and fluent in spoken and written English (Arabic or Hindi/Urdu is an advantage).
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word (data entry, filters, formulas, reporting).
  • Organized, detail-oriented, and reliable with strong follow-up discipline.
  • Self-motivated, target-driven, and able to work independently.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and remain composed under pressure.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED5,000.00 - AED6,000.00 per month
