Role Overview
The Sales Executive will drive revenue growth by generating new business opportunities across print publications, digital platforms, and events. The candidate will focus on identifying leads, engaging potential clients, presenting solutions, and securing partnerships that contribute directly to the company’s business objectives.
- Identify and connect with prospective clients and business partners aligned with the company’s publications, digital platforms, and events.
- Pitching for ad sales, sponsorship, and digital media opportunities.
- Follow up with prospects to convert leads into confirmed business agreements.
Sales & Negotiation
- Lead discussions and presentations with potential clients to secure new partnerships.
- Prepare tailored proposals and partnership packages that address client needs.
- Negotiate terms, pricing, and deliverables to successfully close deals.
Relationship Management
- Establish and maintain professional relationships with new clients to build trust and credibility.
- Understand client objectives and recommend solutions that align with their goals.
- Identify opportunities for repeat business and expanded collaboration.
Reporting & Strategy
- Maintain accurate records of leads, client interactions, and ongoing sales activities.
- Provide regular updates on sales performance, pipeline status, and market trends.
- Support initiatives to explore new business segments and expand the client base.
Event Support
- Engage potential partners and sponsors for industry events and award programs.
- Ensure all sponsorship and visibility commitments are fulfilled.
- Collaborate with internal teams to maximize opportunities during events.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field (preferred).
- Proven experience in sales, business development, or client acquisition.
- Strong communication, persuasion, and negotiation skills.
- Target-driven, proactive, and able to manage multiple sales opportunities simultaneously.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Familiarity with CRM tools and MS Office is a plus.
