Key responsibilities
- Sales and lead management: Proactively manage inbound and outbound sales inquiries, convert walk-in leads, and identify new business opportunities.
- Client communication: Respond to client inquiries, provide information on yacht packages, and maintain a professional and positive relationship throughout the sales process.
- Sales strategy: Develop and execute sales plans, collaborate with the marketing team, and plan promotional campaigns.
- Quoting and booking: Prepare customized quotes and proposals, negotiate sales terms, and finalize charter agreements.
- Coordination: Coordinate charter bookings, liaise with yacht operators, and ensure all necessary information and documentation is exchanged.
- Customer service: Ensure exceptional customer service throughout the booking and charter experience, which may include conducting yacht tours or assisting with client needs.
- Reporting: Prepare sales reports and track progress toward sales goals.
Required skills and qualifications
- Sales experience: Proven experience in sales, preferably within the charter, luxury, or tourism industries.
- Communication skills: Excellent verbal and written communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills are essential.
- Customer focus: A strong customer service orientation to build rapport and ensure client satisfaction.
- Organizational skills: Ability to manage multiple inquiries and coordinate bookings efficiently.
- Brand representation: Ability to maintain a professional appearance and effectively represent the company brand.
- Education: A bachelor's degree in a related field like business or marketing is often preferred.
- Industry knowledge: Familiarity with the yachting industry and its various aspects can be highly beneficial.
