Job Summary:
We are seeking an ambitious and results-driven Sales Executive with extensive experience in sales. The ideal candidate will lead business development efforts, manage key client relationships, and drive revenue growth by securing large-scale rooftop and ground-mounted solar projects. This role requires strong technical understanding of solar systems, proven sales leadership, and a deep network in the renewable energy sector.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve business growth targets for EPC solar projects (rooftop & utility-scale).
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities across industrial, commercial, and institutional segments.
- Manage the end-to-end sales cycle — from lead generation, site assessment, proposal preparation, and negotiation to closure.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with corporates, developers, consultants, and government departments.
- Collaborate with the design, engineering, procurement, and finance teams to prepare accurate techno-commercial proposals.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and emerging opportunities in the solar industry.
- Drive channel partnerships, EPC collaborations, and strategic alliances to expand market presence.
- Ensure timely communication and follow-up with clients to maximize conversion rates.
- Prepare MIS reports, sales forecasts, and performance analyses for management review.
- Represent the company at industry events, exhibitions, and client meetings to enhance brand visibility.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree
- Minimum 2–4 years of proven experience in sales and business development.
- Strong technical understanding of solar EPC solutions, net metering, CAPEX / OPEX models, and project financials.
- Excellent networking, negotiation, and client relationship management skills.
- Ability to manage large-scale industrial/commercial clients and long sales cycles.
- Proficiency in MS Office and presentation software.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Willingness to travel extensively for client meetings and project coordination.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Existing client network in industrial, corporate, or institutional sectors.
- Strong understanding of state solar policies, DISCOM regulations, and MNRE guidelines.
- Experience in managing and mentoring sales.
