Role Overview

We are seeking a motivated and commercially driven Sales Executive to support business development across FinTechs, payment service providers, exchange houses, and regulated financial institutions in the UAE and wider MENA region.

The role focuses on acquiring clients similar to payment processors, orchestration platforms, wallets, fintech startups, and regulated exchange houses, and positioning our compliance, regulatory, and advisory services as a trusted solution.

This is a front-facing role requiring strong relationship-building skills, basic regulatory awareness, and the ability to convert conversations into mandates.

Key Responsibilities

Client Acquisition & Business Development

Identify and onboard new clients including Exchange Houses (CBUAE regulated), FinTechs, PSPs, MSBs, Payment Orchestration Platforms, Wallet providers, crypto / digital asset businesses, Regulated entities (DFSA, ADGM, VARA, CBUAE)

Actively source leads through:

  • Cold outreach, referrals, networking events, LinkedIn, and industry forums
  • Build and manage a sales pipeline and maintain accurate records of prospects and engagements

Market Intelligence

Track market trends across:

  • FinTech, payments, exchange houses, and digital assets
  • Identify cross-selling and upselling opportunities within existing clients
  • Provide feedback to management on market demand and competitor activity

Required Skills & Experience

  • 2–5 years of sales or business development experience in Financial services, FinTech, payments, banking, or compliance-related services
  • Strong understanding (at least at a commercial level) of Exchange houses, Payment service providers, FinTech business models
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Ability to confidently engage with senior management, founders, and compliance teams
  • UAE market experience is mandatory, familiarity with UAE regulators (CBUAE, DFSA, VARA, ADGM)
  • Existing network within Exchange houses, FinTech startups, Payment processors or banks
