Job Summary

The Sales Executive – Logistics is responsible for generating new business, managing client relationships, and promoting logistics services such as freight forwarding, transportation, warehousing, and supply chain solutions. The role focuses on achieving revenue targets through customer acquisition and retention.

Key Responsibilities Business Development & Sales

  • Identify and develop new business opportunities in logistics and freight forwarding
  • Sell logistics services including:
  • Air & Sea Freight (Import & Export)
  • Generate leads through cold calling, networking, and market research
  • Prepare and present sales proposals, quotations, and rate negotiations
  • Achieve monthly and annual sales targets

Client Relationship Management

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers
  • Understand customer logistics requirements and propose tailored solutions
  • Handle customer queries, complaints, and post-sales support

Market Intelligence & Reporting

  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and freight rate movements
  • Prepare sales reports, forecasts, and pipeline updates

Required Skills & Competencies

  • Strong knowledge of logistics and freight forwarding services
  • Customer-focused with strong relationship-building ability
  • Result-oriented and target-driven mindset

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Experience
  • 1–5 years of experience in logistics sales, freight forwarding

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
