Note: This is IDENBRID's first dedicated sales hire for in-house products. We're looking for someone who can build the sales function from the ground up.

Your Role:

As a Sales Executive for In-House Products, you will be responsible for selling IDENBRID's proprietary POS (Point of Sale) system to retailers, restaurants, and SMEs in the Pakistan market. You will be the first dedicated sales person for our product line, meaning you'll help build the sales process, identify target retailers, generate leads, and close deals on the ground. You'll work directly with the CEO and COO to shape the go-to-market strategy.

Important: English communication must be strong enough to clearly understand and execute the goals and vision set by the CEO and COO (Japanese leadership). You will receive direction in English and must be able to discuss strategy, report progress, and align on targets without language barriers.

This is NOT a typical "sit and wait for leads" role. You'll be out in the field, walking into shops, pitching owners, and closing deals face-to-face.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Field Sales: Visit retailers in person, pitch the POS product, and close deals
  • Consultative Selling: Understand each retailer's operation enough to explain how our POS fits their business
  • Sales Playbook: Build the sales playbook for rolling our product into the PK retail market
  • Lead Generation: Identify and reach out to potential clients through LinkedIn, cold calls, email outreach, and networking events
  • Product Demos: Conduct product demonstrations and presentations to prospective clients (online and in-person)
  • Pipeline Management: Build and maintain a sales pipeline using CRM tools; track all interactions and follow-ups
  • Client Relationships: Develop and nurture relationships with decision-makers (CTOs, CEOs, IT Managers)
  • Market Research: Research target industries, competitors, and market trends to identify opportunities
  • Proposal & Negotiation: Prepare proposals, negotiate pricing, and close deals
  • Feedback Loop: Communicate client feedback to the product/development team for product improvement
  • Reporting: Provide weekly/monthly sales reports with pipeline status, conversion rates, and revenue forecasts
  • Process Building: Help establish sales processes, scripts, templates, and best practices as the first sales hire

What We're Looking For:

  • BtoB field sales experience selling to retailers, restaurants, SMEs, or similar ideally with exposure to POS systems or retail operations
  • 1-3 years of B2B sales experience (software/SaaS/IT services preferred)
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
  • Strong communication skills in English (written and verbal) must be able to clearly understand CEO/COO's goals and vision, discuss strategy, and report progress without language barriers
  • Urdu fluency for PK market client communication
  • Experience with outbound sales (cold outreach, LinkedIn selling, email campaigns)
  • Comfortable doing product demos and presentations
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently without constant supervision
  • Basic understanding of software products and technology (doesn't need to code, but must understand what the product does)
  • Experience with CRM tools (HubSpot, Salesforce, or similar)
  • Strong negotiation and objection-handling skills
  • Professional appearance and demeanor for client meetings
  • Knowledge of the Pakistan IT/software market and local business landscape

Preferred Skills (Nice to Have):

  • Experience selling POS systems, retail software or SaaS products to brick-and-mortar businesses
  • Existing network of retailers, restaurant owners or SME decision-makers in Pakistan
  • Experience with LinkedIn Sales Navigator
  • Understanding of retail operations (inventory, billing, customer management)
  • Previous startup or small-team experience (comfortable wearing multiple hats)
  • Knowledge of Pakistan's retail/F&B market landscape

Salary Range: 60k - 120k PKR

(Based on experience and proven sales track record. Performance bonuses/commission structure will be discussed.)
