Job Title: Sales Executive – LED Division

Job Summary
The Sales Executive (LED) is responsible for driving revenue growth by selling LED products (e.g., lighting solutions, display screens, signage, or components) to targeted B2B and B2C segments. This role requires a proactive hunter mentality combined with technical knowledge to consult with clients on energy efficiency, brightness, lifespan, and application-specific requirements.
Key Responsibilities1. Sales & Business Development
- Identify and prospect new clients including electrical contractors, interior designers, architects, facility managers, signage companies, and retail chains.
- Achieve/exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets for LED product lines.
- Conduct product demonstrations, site surveys, and lighting audits to recommend optimal LED solutions.
- Prepare and deliver quotations, proposals, and tenders for projects (e.g., street lighting retrofits, commercial office lighting, digital billboards).
- Negotiate pricing, contracts, and payment terms within company guidelines.
2. Account Management
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with key accounts (distributors, wholesalers, OEMs, and project end-users).
- Provide after-sales support including warranty claims, replacement coordination, and technical troubleshooting.
- Monitor client satisfaction and gather feedback for product improvement.
3. Technical & Market Expertise
- Stay updated on LED technology trends: efficacy (lm/W), CRI, color temperature, dimming compatibility, smart controls (IoT, DALI, Zigbee), and regulatory standards (Energy Star, DLC, CE, RoHS).
- Educate customers on total cost of ownership (TCO) and ROI compared to conventional lighting.
- Track competitor products, pricing, and market positioning.
4. Sales Operations & Reporting
- Maintain accurate records of leads, opportunities, and closed deals in CRM system.
- Provide weekly sales forecasts, pipeline reports, and market feedback to management.
- Coordinate with logistics and inventory teams to ensure timely delivery of LED products.
Qualifications & RequirementsEducation & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
- 2–5 years of proven B2B sales experience, ideally in LED lighting, electronics, or industrial components.
- Familiarity with distribution channels, project sales cycles, and government tenders is a plus.
Skills & Competencies
- Strong understanding of basic electrical concepts (voltage, current, power, lumens).
- Excellent negotiation, presentation, and closing skills.
- Proficiency in CRM software, MS Office (Excel for pricing analysis).
- Valid driver’s license (for client site visits) and willingness to travel as needed.

- Sales revenue vs. target (by product category).
- Number of new active accounts per quarter.
- Conversion rate from quote to purchase order.
- Average deal size & gross margin percentage.
