Duties and Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers while consistently generating new business opportunities.
- Build and grow a sustainable customer portfolio through cold calling, prospecting, issuing quotes, preparing bids, and presenting formal sales proposals.
- Promote and sell Topocean Group’s full suite of freight and logistics services, including Import/Export, Distribution & Warehousing, LTL Transportation, Cargo Insurance, and Customs Brokerage.
- Identify customer needs, create tailored supply chain solutions, and deliver value-based proposals that align with client requirements.
- Manage the entire sales cycle—from lead generation through closing—ensuring timely follow-ups, accurate documentation, and smooth handoffs to operations.
- Track and report sales activities, pipeline status, and revenue forecasts.
- Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets assigned by Sales Upper Management.
- Collaborate closely with Operations, Customer Service, and overseas offices to ensure seamless customer onboarding and service execution.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments to support strategic sales planning.
- Represent Topocean professionally at customer visits, industry events, and networking activities.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of proven success in freight forwarding, logistics, or supply chain sales, with established industry contacts preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to develop new accounts and consistently achieve sales quotas in a competitive environment.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills—capable of conveying complex logistics solutions clearly to a wide range of clients.
- High proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and familiarity with using CRM systems to manage pipeline and activities.
- Self-motivated, goal-driven, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and follow up with prospects and clients effectively.
- Ability to learn quickly, adapt to changing business needs, and work efficiently to meet productivity expectations.
- Solid understanding of international logistics, transportation modes, Incoterms, and general freight forwarding processes is a plus.

Salary: $75,000.00 and up per year (DOE) + commission
