Black & Grey HR is recruiting for a well established plastic trading business with a strong presence in domestic and export markets. Our client is seeking a proactive and results driven Sales Executive - Scrap Plastic Material to support business development and sales growth across India.
Responsibilities
- Identify and develop new business opportunities for scrap plastic materials (PET, HDPE, LDPE, PP, ABS, etc.).
- Manage domestic sales and export inquiries, ensuring timely follow ups and closures.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with recyclers, processors, and trading partners.
- Track market prices, demand supply trends, and competitor activity within India.
- Coordinate with procurement, quality inspection, and logistics teams for smooth execution.
- Assist in negotiating pricing, contracts, and payment terms with clients.
- Maintain accurate sales records, forecasts, and client databases.
Requirements
- Minimum 2+ years of experience in scrap plastic sales, plastic recycling, or bulk commodity trading.
- Strong knowledge of scrap plastic grades, sourcing, quality parameters, and pricing trends.
- Experience handling domestic logistics and/or export documentation is preferred.
- Good communication skills in English; regional language proficiency is an advantage.
- Self motivated, target oriented, and capable of managing multiple clients independently.
