As a Sales Executive your role will be to develop and maintains client relationships, identify business opportunities, and promote logistics services (Freight forwarding, Warehousing, Supply chain solutions) to meet sales targets. You will act as a bridge between clients and operational team, ensuring customer satisfaction and service delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Business Development:
- Identify and prospect new clients through cold calling, networking, and market research.
- Generate leads and convert them into long-term business opportunities.
- Promote logistics services tailored to client needs (Sea, Air, Road freight, or Warehousing).
- Client Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients.
- Understand client requirements and provide customized logistics solutions.
- Conduct regular follow-ups to ensure client satisfaction and address concerns.
- Sales Strategy and Targets:
- Achieve or exceed monthly/quarterly sales targets and KPIs.
- Develop and implement sales strategies to penetrate new markets or industries.
- Coordination and Collaboration:
- Work closely with operations, customer service, and pricing teams to ensure seamless service delivery.
- Negotiate rates and contracts with clients and vendors.
- Provide accurate sales forecasts and reports to management.
- Market Analysis:
- Monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and market demands.
- Identify opportunities for service enhancements or new offerings.
- Documentation and Compliance:
- Ensure all sales activities comply with company policies and industry regulations.
Key Skills and Qualifications:
- Experience: 2–3 years of experience in sales in logistics, freight forwarding, or supply chain industries.
- Skills:
- Strong sales and negotiation skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Knowledge of logistics processes, shipping terms (e.g., Incoterms), and industry regulations.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Results-driven with a customer-centric approach.
Other: Valid driver’s license preferred.
