SALES EXECUTIVE – DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Lead Generation & Market Research
- Identify potential customers such as households, commercial buildings, industries, institutions, and government sectors.
- Conduct site visits and market surveys to identify new business opportunities.
- Maintain and update customer databases and sales pipelines.
- Build and nurture relationships with architects, contractors, builders, and channel partners.
2. Customer Engagement & Sales Activities
- Contact leads through calls, emails, WhatsApp, and in-person visits.
- Explain solar products, solutions, and services clearly to customers.
- Conduct client meetings and presentations regarding solar system benefits, ROI, payback, and cost savings.
- Understand customer requirements and recommend suitable solar systems (on-grid, off-grid, hybrid).
3. Technical Coordination
- Coordinate with the technical/engineering team for site surveys.
- Share load details, roof measurements, and technical data with the design team.
- Provide accurate quotations based on technical feasibility reports.
- Follow up for design approval, DPR (Detailed Project Report), and proposals.
4. Sales Closure & Documentation
- Negotiate prices, terms, and conditions with customers.
- Prepare and share proposals, quotations, and agreements.
- Ensure timely closure of deals and convert leads to orders.
- Collect necessary documents for subsidy, net metering, or project execution.
5. Project Coordination
- Follow up with the project team to ensure timely installation.
- Update customers on project progress.
- Coordinate for payment collection at each stage (advance, mid-stage, and final payment).
- Ensure customer satisfaction after project completion.
6. Reporting & Targets
- Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets assigned by the company.
- Track and maintain records of enquiries, conversions, and revenue.
- Submit daily/weekly sales reports to the Sales Manager through ERP.
- Attend team meetings, training sessions, and reviews.
7. After-Sales Support
- Assist customers with warranty, service requests, and AMC enquiries.
- Build long-term customer relationships for referrals and repeat business.
8. Compliance & Company Policies
- Follow all company policies on pricing, documentation, and customer communication.
- Maintain professionalism, punctuality, and proper behaviour during customer visits.
- Ensure safety standards during site visits.
Qualification: Degree or Master Degree
Experience: Minimum 2 years in Sales department(Preferred Solar company)
