Job Overview
We are looking for a driven Sales Executive – Specialty Products to support growth and manage customer relationships for our Specialty Masterbatch & Compound portfolio, which includes:
- Flame Retardant Masterbatches and Compounds
- UV Masterbatches (Agriculture & Specialty)
- Anti-Oxidant Masterbatches
- Conductive Compounds
- Anti-Static Masterbatches
The ideal candidate should have experience in technical or specialty product sales within the masterbatch, plastics, or specialty chemicals domain. The role requires strong market understanding, customer engagement skills, and the ability to work closely with technical teams to deliver application-specific solutions.
Key Responsibilities1. Market & Competitor Understanding
- Identify customer needs across specialty applications and track emerging trends.
- Monitor competitor offerings in the specialty masterbatch and compound space to support strategic positioning.
2. Sales & Product Support
- Achieve sales targets for the specialty product range through focused territory management.
- Work closely with technical and product teams to provide customers with the right formulation or solution.
- Maintain product mix, pricing, and margins as per business objectives.
3. Sales Planning & Execution
- Execute account-wise and segment-wise sales plans within the assigned region.
- Support initiatives to expand market penetration of specialty products across industries such as agriculture, electrical, electronics, packaging, and automotive.
4. Customer Relationship Management
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with OEMs, converters, distributors, and key accounts.
- Address customer concerns promptly and ensure a smooth coordination between sales, technical, and operations teams.
5. Reporting & CRM Management
- Maintain accurate sales reports (daily/weekly/monthly) and update activities in CRM (Zoho preferred).
- Provide market intelligence and forecasting to support business planning.
6. Channel Sales Support
- Work with distributors to enhance specialty product reach, ensuring adequate training, support, and market development.
- Evaluate distributor performance and ensure alignment with sales goals.
Qualifications & RequirementsExperience
- 1–3 years of sales experience in masterbatch, compounds, specialty chemicals, or technical product sales.
- Exposure to OEM interaction, specialty product selling, or solution-based sales is preferred.
- Experience handling both direct customers and distributors is an advantage.
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Polymer Science, Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, or related fields.
- MBA is an added advantage.
Skills & Competencies
- Basic understanding of specialty masterbatches and functional additives.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and customer engagement skills.
- Ability to manage technical discussions with customers.
- Self-driven, target-oriented, and adaptable to diverse customer environments.
- Proficiency in MS Office and CRM tools.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Fresher, Internship
Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹60,000.00 per month
