We are seeking an experienced Sales Head – Building Materials to lead our sales operations across West UP, Haryana, and Delhi NCR, strengthen our channel network, and drive revenue growth in the region.

Role Overview

The Sales Head – Building Materials will be responsible for developing and executing regional sales strategies, building distribution networks, and managing key accounts. The role requires a leader capable of growing sales across multiple product lines while maintaining profitability and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement regional sales strategies for tiles adhesives, paints & coatings, wall putty, and cement-based products.
  • Lead and manage distributor, dealer, and retail networks across West UP, Haryana, and Delhi NCR.
  • Identify and onboard new channel partners, contractors, and institutional clients.
  • Collaborate with marketing for trade campaigns, product promotions, and dealer engagement programs.
  • Analyze sales trends, competitor activities, and market opportunities to drive business growth.
  • Ensure target achievement through effective sales planning, forecasting, and territory management.
  • Oversee collections, pricing, and margin management for assigned regions.
  • Recruit, train, and guide the regional sales team to deliver performance excellence.
  • Coordinate with supply chain, finance, and operations to ensure timely order fulfillment.
  • Represent the brand in exhibitions, trade fairs, and dealer meets.

Key Skills & Competencies

  • Proven track record in sales leadership within the building materials / paints / adhesives / construction chemicals sector.
  • Strong knowledge of trade sales, dealer development, and project business.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple territories and product lines simultaneously.
  • Analytical mindset with data-driven decision-making.
  • Strong leadership and team management capabilities.

Technical / Product Knowledge (Preferred)

  • Familiarity with tiles adhesive formulations, wall putty compositions, waterproofing, and coating solutions.
  • Experience in managing both retail (trade) and institutional (project) channels.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel, CRM tools, and sales analytics dashboards.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Civil Engineering, or related field.
  • MBA / PGDM in Sales or Marketing preferred.
  • 4–9 years of sales experience, with at least 3+ years in building materials or related industry.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹800,000.00 - ₹1,300,000.00 per year
