The Sales Head will lead and manage the sales function across all branches, ensuring consistent admissions growth and high-quality conversions. This role requires strong experience in the education/training industry, CRM-driven team management, and alignment with marketing to improve lead quality and conversion performance. The position is based at the Calicut office with periodic branch visits.
Key Responsibilities1. Sales Leadership & Strategy
- Develop and execute sales strategies to meet monthly and quarterly admission targets.
- Analyze market trends, competitors, and student preferences to strengthen sales performance.
- Ensure consistency in sales processes across all branches.
2. Team Management
- Lead and manage sales staff across branches via a CRM system.
- Conduct daily/weekly performance reviews.
- Provide training on communication, counseling, and lead conversion.
- Set KPIs and ensure consistent achievement.
3. CRM & Sales Operations
- Oversee the CRM system for accurate lead tracking and follow-up management.
- Monitor pipeline health, response time, and conversation quality.
- Improve CRM workflows and reporting formats.
4. KPI Monitoring & Reporting
- Track KPIs such as conversion rates, follow-up quality, target achievement, and counselor activity.
- Submit weekly and monthly sales performance reports to management.
5. Lead Quality Review
- Evaluate the quality of leads received from digital marketing and offline channels.
- Provide actionable feedback to the marketing team to improve targeting and lead funnel health.
6. Collaboration with Marketing
- Work closely with the digital marketing and branding teams.
- Suggest improvements for ads, creatives, communication flow, and landing pages.
- Align sales and marketing to maximize ROI on marketing spends.
7. Branch Coordination
- Coordinate with branch heads and teams for smooth admissions and onboarding.
- Visit branches when required to monitor performance, support staff, and resolve issues.
- Prepare branch visit reports for management.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree or MBA preferred.
- 5–8+ years of experience in sales, preferably in the education or training sector.
- Strong experience managing multi-location teams.
- Proficiency in CRM systems like Zoho, LeadSquared, HubSpot, etc.
- Proven ability to increase conversions and achieve sales targets.
